Clark+Kensington paint launching event from ACE Hardware

As part of paint launching from ACE, my friend asked me to participate in a live painting performance at ACE Living World. So we were given a few theme options and free to paint anything within the theme we choose with Clark+Kensington paint. The theme I picked was 'Garden'.

We were given a 1,2m x 1,2m canvas as a medium. And so we painted for 2 days, about 5-6 hours each day until finished. It was quite an experience painting in open public space with people watching your every move :p

As it turns out, painting with wall paints wasn't exactly easy or as simple as i thought it would be hahaha, but overall this was a fun experience. Plus we get to bring home a few cans of the paints we use! Yay!

Fashion sketches for presentation material

A while ago I did these simple fashion sketches for a presentation material. It was a fun and pretty much rushed project :)

Everything was done manually with watercolor mixed with permanent marker.

Hair style illustrations for CITA CINTA

This was a project from about half a year ago. CITA CINTA magazine asked me to do illustration on face type and hairstyles for their beauty tips article.

The tips was something like: 'Long face can add bangs, heart face look great with pixie hair, etc'

SHARP TVC - Cathy & Julie

This is about the second time I worked with Matt Wilson, it was great working with Matt again.

Talents are 2 beautiful girls, Julie (I've worked with her before for Sunsilk) and Cathy was my first time, both are very cooperative.

They both have 2 set of looks here, one look is the 'glam-life' look and the other one is the 'off camera-at home' look. But still the brief was stylish and high fashion.

Catwalk look is very dramatic, long flowy dresses in soft hues and yet still very sexy.

On their at home scenes is still a semi formal look because they're celebrating.

All clothes are custom made except for Cathy's at home dress,

she wore a blue BCBG mini dress.

POND'S 30 days challenge print ad

Here's a print ad project from POND'S, it's an activation promo print ad.

The brief was a K-Pop teenage look, cute and girlie.

They got 2 pretty young girls as talents, not celebrities.

Although one of the girls is on her way to stardom :p She's a singer and very talented, guess which one hehehe.

Vitamin Water TVC

This was last year's project.

First time werkin with Francis Tan :)

We had a couple of different look on fitting, from cute to ravishing to sexy haha

The talent was lovely lovely Salvita De Corte.

In the end it's always client's decision :p

And he likes the ombre blue Herve, sexy look it is.

the theme was romantic dinner haha, so of course there's a cute guy as her 'boyfriend'!

His name is Delano, very good-looking Dutch :p

This is the first time I work with Raisha :)

She's a nice girl, very talented and beautiful voice of course.

It was a very rush project, I had the dress sketched on the initial ppm and sent straight away to the client to get approval at night. The next day material shopping and straight to the tailor, done in 2 days only.

Working with Sandra Dewi is always a pleasure :)

She carried the dress very well, gorgeous!

 

CLEO 5th anniversary celebration issue

For their 5th anniversary, CLEO commissioned 8 illustrators to do a 'Birthday Postcard' for them with themes given by CLEO (Cool, Liberated, Energetic, Optimistic).

These illustrations are featured in the magazine, and also on their website which people can download the images as wallpapers.

I get the 'Cool' theme :D

CFA video

Last year CLEO approached me to do a fashion film for them to put up on Jakarta Fashion Week 2011.

The video not only meant for use on JFW alone, but it also has to be like an identity film about the magazine, some sort of 'company profile' so they can also use it for other events aside from JWF.

They want to impersonate CLEO as a modern woman.

And so this is my version of a CLEO woman :)

Fashion DIY

Osteocessories

This will probably be the most exciting project I did this year :D

The idea is from JWT team, lead by my dearest friend, about a social project educating women about the need to prevent osteoporosis from early age.

How they approach young women is through fashion and this idea came out, about creating a set of couture looking accessories based on actual bone support items used by those who have problems with bone fractures.

And so they came to me and I was thrilled!! (who wouldn't?)

here's some progress photos and finished items, which were exhibited during Indonesian Fashion Week last March 2012.

With the help of my fellow designer friend Michelle, we did 6 items in total: neck brace, back brace, shoulder support, elbow support, knee support, ankle support, arm support.

Aside from the accessories, I also direct the video which JWT sent to award shows :)
