YOUC1000 - Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler

This was my second time working for Miss Universe on YouC1000 tvc.

We had 3 outfit for the 30sec version: A swimsuit, a casual visitation outfit, and she also wore a traditional Pendet dancer costume which I custom made to fit her fabulous figure :)

And for the 15sec version: an elegant evening dress, because client wants her to look a bit more 'pageant' complete with her sash and crown.

I didn't take pictures of her in swimsuit, but you can see it clearly in the tvc.

Tatler x WWF - Panda Ball

This was Nov 2013, last year, another great opportunity to collab wif Nadya :)

Auntie Ester contacted me on styling for Nadya as she is hosting a charity event for Tatler x WWF, the Panda Ball.

She needed 2 outfit, one casual chic look for the press con and another a formal glam look for hosting the Panda Ball at night.

On the left outfit for press con:

A black knit turtle-neck paired wif a midi parang batik swing skirt from

Part One by Edward Hutabarat and a pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps (her own) and a simple gold bangle.

She did her own make up & hair, pulled back and natural really made this look très chic!

On the right outfit for hosting:

A one shoulder dark blue toga gown wif crystal embellished shoulder from Biyan. Very simple yet elegant.

We had a few options from Biyan, Odang & Tadashi but this one nailed the 'effortless' glam :)

And once again I'm a happy stylist to deliver a happy client, thank you again Nadya & auntie Ester.

Jakarta Fashion Week 2014

I got some invitations to see some shows from JFW 2014 last week, as a proud Indonesian, I went for sure to see the progress our fashion industry has made. And of course this was the perfect timing to dress up and wear those fabulous pieces that you own but reluctant to wear on daily basis, because most people would tend to look at it as over-dressed. Haha!!! So styling my-self more than the usual skinny-jeans-tee-sneakers combo. Turned out dressing up got me photographed a few times, not bad hahaha.

Ootd: canary yellow shirt dress from Friederich Herman, you can find it here or at bobobobo. Wooden bangles from MOREANDMORE, clear prespex clutch from ZARA, espadrilles leather ankle booties from Pedder Red. Pardon my messy curly hair :D

Tresemme - NY Fashion Week promo print ad

I had fun styling for Tresemme, as they wanted more fashion forward look, which is not what I always get to do for advertising styling :D Yay!
We had a few options on fitting, but we shot just two, with this pretty origami skirt from local designer Jeffry Tan. I'm so in love with the skirt! :D

TOSHIBA - Yukata project

I was assigned to create a series of Yukata from Batik, different kinds of batik from different cities all around Indonesia. This was hard, hard to find the variations of rare Batik. Another problem is creating the Yukata itself, as I have never made one nor wore one haha.. but it was quite an experience. The fun part is color combining the obi belt with the batik and making the hair accesories from many types of fabric flower (fakes).
I made 8 Yukata, but overall the needed 16 Yukatas, so the rest was done with DI.

This was a very rush project, because they need to submit the material to Citra Pariwara. Not so bad lah for a 1 day prep :D

PANASONIC GOBEL AWARD 2013

Another great pleasure dressing up ms. Nadya Hutagalung for PGA 2013. She hosted the ceremony together with mr. Darius. Here she wore a silk fuchsia dress from Valentino Resort 2013 collection. Very simple and elegant, with statement necklace from Rinaldy A Yunardi collection.

Above is photo from fitting session at Valentino Plz Indonesia. Big thanks to ms. Caroline from Trans Fashion Indonesia who made it possible :). And of course also big thanks to mr. YungYung for the gorgeous necklace.
I gave Nadya a few options from Tadashi too, but once she tried on this Valentino, we knew right away that this is THE DRESS! Fits her perfectly.

My assistant couldn't manage to take a clear pic of her on the awarding night, because so many other celebrities wanting to take photo with Nadya, most of them said: "Nadya looked very beautiful. Stunning!" (as reported by my asst).
And I am happy that everybody is happy hahaha...

SHARP TVC - Cathy & Julie

This is about the second time I worked with Matt Wilson, it was great working with Matt again.

Talents are 2 beautiful girls, Julie (I've worked with her before for Sunsilk) and Cathy was my first time, both are very cooperative.

They both have 2 set of looks here, one look is the 'glam-life' look and the other one is the 'off camera-at home' look. But still the brief was stylish and high fashion.

Catwalk look is very dramatic, long flowy dresses in soft hues and yet still very sexy.

On their at home scenes is still a semi formal look because they're celebrating.

All clothes are custom made except for Cathy's at home dress,

she wore a blue BCBG mini dress.

POND'S 30 days challenge print ad

Here's a print ad project from POND'S, it's an activation promo print ad.

The brief was a K-Pop teenage look, cute and girlie.

They got 2 pretty young girls as talents, not celebrities.

Although one of the girls is on her way to stardom :p She's a singer and very talented, guess which one hehehe.

Vitamin Water TVC

This was last year's project.

First time werkin with Francis Tan :)

We had a couple of different look on fitting, from cute to ravishing to sexy haha

The talent was lovely lovely Salvita De Corte.

In the end it's always client's decision :p

And he likes the ombre blue Herve, sexy look it is.
